Kimberley

Kimberley is a passionate and dedicated sports therapist, balancing her professional expertise with the joys and challenges of being a mother to two young boys. As the owner of KB Sports Therapy, she brings her commitment to helping people from all walks of life to recover and excel  to every session, ensuring her clients receive top - notch care.

 

 Since graduating from Northampton University in 2012, Kimberley has worked with a wide range of sports such as rugby, hockey, football, netball and basketball and when training at university, she undertook a valuable internship with Northampton Town Football Club and Northampton Rugby Club.

Her experience in a sporting environment has given her the opportunity to treat a wide range of sporting injuries. Kimberley has also worked in the NHS.

Kimberley is experienced in using a wide variety of sports therapy techniques including soft tissue massage, Swedish massage, electrotherapy, rehabilitation, mobilisations of joints and manipulation and mobilisation of the spine. She uses all these skills to manage and treat all musculoskeletal problems and occupational injuries.

Kimberley works extremely hard to ensure clients a speedy recovery back to their sport or work, and is also a member of, and fully insured with IPTI, the Independent Professional Therapist and the sports therapy association. 

Kimberley is a keen runner and Crossfitter. .

Amie

Amie has a BSc (Hons) in sports therapy from Birmingham City University. Before becoming a sports therapist Amie was a dancer for 17 years specialising in ballet and modern jazz. Amie has a real passion for treating musculoskeletal injuries and loves getting people back to doing what they love. 

Along side working for KB Sports therapy Amie is working for the Northampton old scouts RFC as their sports therapist.

Carolyn

Carolyn is a fully qualified insured sports therapy practitioner (Level 5 VTCT)

Carolyn is qualified and licensed for Western Medical Acupuncture: dry needling; and all therapeutic electrotherapies. She is also an expert in kinesiology and pre-competition taping. Carolyn is trained for pregnancy, labour and post - partum massage. 

 

Carolyn is passionate about returning patients to fitness with improved strength and mobility and is experienced with patients from school - age to ageless seniors! 

Carolyn has worked with dancers at the Milton Keynes Theatre, runners at the London marathon, bodybuilders, powerlifters, and everyday fitness enthusiasts since 2019.

she is keen to point out that her skills are equally applicable to everyone experiencing any kind of musculoskeletal pain. Assisting everyone regardless of age, back to full occupational capacity and movement is her goal! 

Carolyn says shes particularly loves backs, knees and shoulders!

Carolyn actively participates in weight-lifting and gym work and keeps promising to try cross-fit.....but hasn't yet! She is a keen skier but says she is pretty dire at every other sport...except maybe draughts!
